Ebola and HAI prevention

On October 25, 2014 Karin Roemers-Kleven, RN, CWS, FACCWS was a speaker at the Undersea & Hyperbaric Medicine Society (UHMS) Northeast Chapter Meeting.  The conference was attended by close to 250 hyperbaric physicians, nurses and technologists. She talked about Ebola and hospital acquired infections (including MRSA, VRE, Pseudomonas and Clostridium Deficile) and the need for infection control methods in the hyperbaric environment to prevent transmission.
